Recent Updates

have been lacking in parental skills of updating what my darling Rashard had been up to. i guess after doing so during the first child, you tend to slow down during the second.

not that i love him less.

well, Rashard is already 6 months old, and so far he can:

• sing along with Jasmine especially her favourite song "Love Story"
• crawl, but when he realizes that he is crawling, will immediately put down his buttocks and drag himself caterpillar style to where he wants to go. this is the epitome of the word 'lazy bum' o.O
• climb to the edge of the sofa (or bed or whatever he can climb on, even Bonda's heavy bum) and stand, then start to walk sideways
• wave bye bye (this soooo makes me melt and wanna stay home with him instead of going off to work)
• bite everything in sight (including his favourite - paper and bonda's hair!)
• pull yank Jasmine's hair
• make 'nyam nyam' motion whenever he sees anyone eat something
• identify our 2 cts - Smokey and Sparkle and try to go and catch them (i rue the day that he finally can - the poor kitties!)
• play 'kiss kiss' with me - where i say it, then he will 'tonyoh' his face to mine, and open his mouth to bite mine

yeah...he has also started on his porridge, so far it is chicken, rice and carrots. plan to make him pasta this weekend. he also likes his bananas and his pumpkin. also he looooves his farley's rusk.

daddy complains that he has too many clothes and he already has 7 pairs of shoes. (yeah, its my fault)

he has funny hair, where it is long and curly on the top of his head, whereas the hair below is non-existant (due to 'cukur bantal - that's what my mom said)

he likes to be tickled, and gets uber-excited wherever Jasmine is around. he ADORES her.

as for Jasmine, she has shorter hair now.

yes, i have CUT OFF HER BEAUTIFUL, GORGEOUS HAIR!

i have never cut her hair (except for her fringe) ever since she came out of me.

and i had to as there was this HUMONGOUS clump - it got worse.

so, her Nana (my mom) told her that it should be cut off.

she had no problems with that. in fact, she kinda welcomed it.

wanted to take her to my hairdresser, but mom said its a waste of money.

so, as her mom, i decided to do it.

and guess what?! she looks prettier (and cheekier) with her shoulder length hair!

psssssttttt - i went to the ZARA sale. and people, there is a difference between their clearance sale and the normal sale.

kids jeans are all 79.90

t shirts range from 29.90 to 49.90

all dresses are 99.90

shoes are also 79.90

adults tops are from 109.90 to 179.90

shoes and bags are at 199.90

bought socks and tee shirts for my two kiddos.

none for me.

owh, and marks and sparks are on sale too. sheeeet.

i'm desperately trying not to buy anything (yeah, right.)
