Recessionista - That I Am.

the world looks glum. gloomy. grey.

everywhere you turn to, everyone is talking about the same thing - ECONOMIC DOWNTURN.

even this morning, the topic that was discussed on one of the radio station is 'What Do You Cut Down Nowdays To Save Money' - or something in that manner..

i wanted to call and give my answer, but to tell you the truth, i don't think it is right to lie in the morning.

i wanted to say that i cut down on shopping.

but then again, that didn't happen.

i finished my pantang on the 24 of January.

and now is the 25 of february.

within 1  month, i actually bought:

• 3 tops from Jusco for work
• 2 pants from Jusco for work
• 1 pair of jeans from Zara
• 1 pair of ultra uber comfortable shoes (Snowfly - definately not my style, but need it for comfort while being on my feet all day at the airport)
• multiple singlets/tank tops/tubes - it helps wearing these under my tops cos it covers the 'bulges' when i breastfeed
• a pair of jeans from Zara for Jasmine
• a pair of overalls from Zara for baby Rashard
• glittery thights from Zara for Jasmine
• a pair of baju kurung from Mom's shop
• another pair of jeans from FOS
• tshirt and shirts and socks from Debenhams for baby Rashard
• 2 huge vases from Living Quaters

so far, that is what i can remember.

i know it sounds alot, but actually everything was on sale.

that is why i love the term Recessionista.

the vases are gorgeous, and they were 70% off.

Zara is having their sale.

Debenhams as well.

So is Jusco.

and Mothercare will start their sales soon.

sigh.

i know i am supposed to save, but i need my fix.
